America is a Disgraced Country — and This Election is Its Last Chance at Redemption
This Election Isn’t Just About Trump. It’s a Test Of Whether Americans Have Any Civilized Values Left At All.
I read yesterday that in Trump’s concentration camps, women have been undergoing “forced sterilizations.” And yet that barely made the news — if I hadn’t checked Twitter, would I have found out about it? Probably not.
I put it in quotes because it’s an anodyne word for a shocking act. Imagine what it takes to tell a vulnerable woman that you are going to treat her — perhaps she’s having bad cramps, or menstrual pain, or is in even more distress. Instead of treating her, you then you cut her open, and tear out her ovaries, fallopian tubes, and uterus. You slice her open, and cripple her for life. You mutilate her, and simply cut out her organs.
Perhaps you grin, and throw them in a hazmat container. Or maybe you sneer.
What kind of person does it take to cut a woman open and mutilate her, slicing away her organs? It takes the kind of person who is deeply committed. A true believer. In the ideological goal of racial purity through annihilation. Of hated subhumans. It takes a genuine Nazi, in other words.
