MCD dropped $5.38 from $316.22 to lows of $310.63 and highs of $314.12, with trading volume at 2.24 million shares, which is below the average of 3.19 million.

Last month, McDonald’s stock experienced a significant gain of 3.71%, which still lagged behind the S&P 500’s gain of 4.22%. The stock has gained 8.5% in the past 6 months, beating the retail restaurant industry’s 4.3% decline, due to the strong execution in value offerings.

In the case of MCD stock, the analyst predicts an EPS of $3 in Q4 (up 6.01% year-over-year) and revenue of $6.81 billion (up 6.6%). Considering the year 2025, the consensus shows an EPS of $12.08 (up 3.07%) and revenue of $26.67 billion (up 2.9%).

In Q3 2025, the results showed EPS of $3.22 but a revenue of 6.84 billion (beating the $6.68 billion forecast).

Zacks ranks MCD stock at 3rd due to a 0.18% recent EPS estimate drop. 

Over the past year, the price of MCD has traded roughly between 276 and 326 USD.

Recently, a man in Nebraska died in the McDonald’s drive-through. The man was found trapped between the restaurant’s payment window and his vehicle. The man was taken to the nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead. The police are calling this a “Freak Accident”.
