Highlights of Nvidia’s Q4 Earnings
NVIDIA’s revenue beat Wall Street expectations by a huge margin of 3% to 4%, as the analyst consensus was around $65.7-65.8 billion. The GAAP diluted EPS beat margin was even wider as the typical consensus was only 0.22-0.24 dollars, while the reported EPS is $1.76. On a GAAP basis for Q4 FY26, the company reported revenue of $68,127 million, a gross margin of 75.0%, operating expenses of $6,794 million, operating income of $44,299 million, net income of $42,960 million, and diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.76.
The report highlighted the launch of the Nvidia Rubin platform that targets improved efficiency in training AI models (lowers token cost 10x). Blackwell Ultra for Agentic AI, Nemotron 3 open models, NVIDIA Cosmos, and Isaac GROOT robotic stack position Nvidia to dominate the upcoming agentic and physical AI explosion.
Outlook for Next Quarter
NVIDIA’s outlook for next quarter indicates that it projects a revenue of $78 B and a GAAP gross margin of 74.9%. The numbers do not include any data centre revenue from China, as the U.S.-China trade relationship has gone sour over Trump’s tariffs and AI-chip gatekeeping by the USA. This also signals that the revenue can rise massively if the roadblocks in exporting advanced chips to China ease in 2026. Although this remains speculative, many analysts are counting on this prospect as AI hyperscalers have committed to pouring billions of dollars into AI infrastructure in 2026.
